Introduction

This guide is designed to help artists navigate the process of entering the Poconos Park Battle of the Bands contest through the DJ3N platform. By following the steps outlined below, artists can successfully submit their entry for the contest, create an engaging profile, and increase their chances of winning a slot to play live at the event.

Entering the Contest

Create an Account: Enter through a sponsored link or click "START" in the menu bar on the DJ3N website to create a new account. Fill out the required information, including your band's name, contact details, and dates available to perform. Make sure to provide accurate information to ensure a smooth entry process.
Complete Your Profile: After creating your account, complete your band's informational profile by providing details such as a brief band bio, genres, and any other relevant information that will help showcase your band to fans and judges.
Upload a Logo and Official Artist Photo: Enhance your band's profile by uploading an artist logo and an official band photo. High-quality images will help create a professional and appealing profile.

Contest Eligibility and Selection Process

Once your band has entered the contest, it is essential to understand the selection process:

Top 100 Vote-Getters: The top 100 bands that receive the most votes will be eligible to win a slot to play live at the event. Voting period will conclude at the end of April approximately three weeks before the Lost Highway festival on May 19th.
Judging Round: The top 100 bands will be reviewed by a panel of industry professionals, including festival and event organizers, industry experts, and contest hosts.
Selection for Live Performance: The chosen bands from the top 100 will be selected to play live at the Poconos Park Battle of the Bands event based on the panel's review.
